Tauta Treats - Areperia is a passionate initiative bringing the authenticity of Colombian arepas to Zurich. Arepas, a cherished symbol of Colombian cuisine, are handmade, gluten-free corn cakes. Deeply rooted in indigenous traditions, they are grilled or baked and offer the possibility of being prepared with a variety of fillings and toppings. Their popularity undoubtedly stems from their simplicity, versatility, and distinctive taste. With organic or locally sourced ingredients and traditional preparation methods, we aim to not only offer delicious arepas but also to tell a story: the story of tradition uniting to create a new culinary experience.

We are convinced that arepas are a culinary enrichment for Zurich and also an opportunity to celebrate Colombian culture and tradition.
